"There are always multiple truths. At least three. Yours. Mine. And the absolute one."
Galileo Galilei is the first scientist of his time to prove how our solar system is set up. His discoveries call the worldview of his time into question. But the church refuses to accept his truths. When pressured by the inquisition, the researcher is forced to recant his claims. However, as a father of three children, Galilei is not the only one who must bear the consequences of his actions. In taking a look at these young people `s perspective, this play finds a way to bring this subject into the here and now with ease.
"Set designer Flavia Schwedlers brilliantly fanciful scenery once again demonstrates how the intergenerational battle for truth can be brought from the living room to an inquisition prison cell by merely replacing a couch with a chair. (...) A magnificent production that gives a top-notch presentation of complex topics with refreshing humour and a delightful sense of vitality." Kölnische Rundschau
