What is art? And what does it have to do with me? And is it always necessary that we understand it? With words, physicality, choreographed scenes and music, two performers challenge rules, opinions, perspectives and certainties, causing them to quiver. THE ART PIECE lays the soil in which the seeds of art may be sown, preparing us to allow ourselves to be touched deep down by the (il)logical nature of art and human emotions. Where language ends, unspoken humanity begins.

"The Art Piece" is a performance on the subject of art (...) The task that director Leandro Kees and Fetter Fisch have taken upon themselves is not an easy one. The production is well-paced with a considerable amount of wit (...). Moreover, at some point children have to learn that not everything can be understood rationally, least of all a performance."
